Clicks for Tricks II: 6-Week Class
Product Description
Prerequisite: Dog is under control around other dogs and people.
The Clicks for Tricks class will be based on the Clicker Training and Shaping methods. You’ll learn the theory of Clicker Training and how to start priming your dog for the use of the clicker. You’ll also learn about shaping and how your dog “offers” behaviors that you can reinforce and repeat. We’ll show you how to teach basic tricks, such as shake, rollover, and play-dead, as well as some "service dog" work, such as fetching objects and opening and closing doors. If you have any special tricks you want your dog to learn, like “fetch my shoes,” this fun class will show you how it’s done.
Training focuses on teamwork and helps you strengthen your bond with your dog. It will also help your dog learn new skills much faster and increase his capacity for learning.
