Agility consists of a series of obstacles that dogs are directed by their handlers to negotiate safely and in a specified order. Obstacles include an A-frame, teeter, dog walk, jumps, tunnel, chute, weave poles, and a pause table. Praiseworthy Pups offers memberships for people who want additional practice time on the agility equipment in the arena. Praiseworthy Pups also frequently holds Fun Matches where you and your dog can practice your agility skills under conditions that are similar to a competition or trial.
Levels I, II, III, IV, and V are a progressive series of classes for owners and dogs. All Agility Classes have a prerequisite, so please read the class descriptions carefully to determine which class is right for you and your dog. If you have any questions about agility classes, please contact Susan Gabriel, susan@praiseworthypups.com.
